Wellness Alaska may send text messages to your mobile phone for appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, and practice notifications. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from us.
Message Frequency & Content
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and any clinical or administrative needs. Text messages may include appointment reminders, confirmation requests, cancellation notices, and other practice-related communications.
Message & Data Rates
Depending on your cell phone carrier and plan, message and data rates may apply. Standard text message rates apply. Please contact your carrier for information about your specific plan.
Opting Out
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Once you opt out, we will discontinue sending text messages to the number you provided, although we may send important appointment reminders if you have a scheduled visit.

Privacy & Third Parties
We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for direct communication with Wellness Alaska regarding your care and appointments.

Text messages are not a secure communication method. Do not send medical information, symptom details, or other clinical concerns via text. For clinical questions, use the patient portal or call our office during business hours.
Carrier Support
Our text messaging service is supported on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. If you experience issues receiving messages, please verify your cell phone number in your patient portal or contact us directly.
Legal Entity & Liability
Wellness Alaska is a registered DBA of Integrated Wellness and Recovery, LLC, an Alaska-licensed corporation. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery due to carrier issues, network outages, or other factors beyond our control.
